Learning-Focused Partnership At M.I.S, we value a learning-focus partnership with our students. The expectations are high, but easy, so our school is a bully-free zone 24/7. Leaders are expected to lead with integrity and pride, followers are to help others and be a role model to others.
Opportunities Morrinsville Intermediate has a range of different opportunities for students to succeed to the honours boards. Examples like: Netball, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Tech, Hard materials, Soft material, Art, Cooking, Media, Music, Mandarin, Te reo, Production, Drama and Inter-Intermediate competitions to prove your worth in some of these subjects. Summary - Motto We follow our special core values that helps everyone in many ways. ‘Kaitiakitanga- doing the best for the Environment’. We do plantation, cleaning our school grounds to look nice and tidy. ‘Manaakitanga- doing your best for others’. Our students have a special part here, they respect and care for everyone. ‘Rangatiratanga- doing the best for yourself’. Each student should take pride and challenge themselves based on their work. Finally, ‘Whakawhanaungatanga- doing your best for the community’. We help fundraise for our Morrinsville people, making relationships, memories and fun times along the way. Never trust a mirror,

For a mirror only lies.

It makes you think of all your worth,

Can be seen from everyone's outside’s.

Never trust a mirror,

It only shows you what’s skin deep.

You can’t see how your eyes flutter,

When you go to sleep.

It doesn’t show you want the world sees,

When it’s only you.

Or how your eyes lit up,

When you like what you do.

Doesn’t capture your smiles,

Where no-one else can see.

And thy reflection cannot tell you,
Everything you mean to be.
